March 26th

Big week completed! Also purchased my new ride, Trek Speed Concept 7.0!.

Weekly totals - swim (51:20, 2100 yds), bike (9:53:24, 173.95 miles), spin bike (0), run (4:32:18, 31.04 miles), & strength (1:36:45) for a total of 16:53:47.

Training totals - swim (20:57:13, 51,550 yds), bike (25:00:28, 420.94 miles), spin bike (16:56:04), run (27:22:08, 167.60 miles), & strength (11:34:54) for a total of 101:50:47.

Yes that is right, over 100 training hrs to date!

Next week is a recovery week. 

March 19th

Weekly totals - swim (3:04:39, 7800 yds), bike (6:50:29, 112.14 miles), spin bike (20:19), run (3:52:06, 21.25 miles), & strength (34:23) for a total of 14:21:56.

Training totals - swim (20:05:53, 49,450 yds), bike (15:07:04, 246.99 miles), spin bike (16:56:04), run (22:49:50, 136.56 miles) for a total of 84:57:00. That bumps the weekly average up to 12:08:09.

March 11

Business is about to pick up. With DST kicking in, I now have that 'extra' hour each evening. That translate in to more bike time for sure.

Week 6 totals - swim (3:21:53, 8200yds), bike (1:53:00, 29.2 miles), spin bike (1:10:00), run (4:21:50, 26.26 miles), & strength (2:03:55) for a total of 12:50:36.

Training totals - swim (17:01:14, 41,650yds), bike (8:16:35, 134.85 miles), spin bike (16:35:45), run (19:17:44, 115.31 miles), & strength (9:23:46) for a total of 70:35:04 & an average of 11:45:51.

Next week is scheduled to be a 17 hr week.

March 4th

Biggest volume week of the year so far, 14 hrs & 45 minutes. Coach wanted more & I delivered! Now that basketball season is over for me, it is much easier to get in the hours. Nicer weather helps also. Was able to get out on the bike twice this week & now the weather is calling for up to 2" snow by morning. But I shouldn't complain, southern Indiana was hit Friday with severe storms & tornados. At least 13 people died & 3 or 4 small towns were wiped out. Henryville school was totally destroyed. Keeping all those affected in our thoughts & prayers. We are having a 5K run next Sunday & all the money is going to them to help out.

Week 5 totals - strength (2:11:25), swim (2:59:37, 7200 yds), bike (3:20:24, 55.5 miles), spin bike (2:40:00), & run (3:33:35, 21.47 miles) for a total of 14:45:00.

Training totals - strength (7:19:53), swim (13:39:21, 33,450 yds), bike (6:23:35, 105.65 miles), spin bike (15:25:45), run (14:55:54, 89.05 miles) for a total of 57:44:28).

Weekly average hours is now at 11:32:54. Not too bad for just being the 1st week of March.

Next week is a recovery week of 13 hrs.
